Pesquisador em nível pós-doutoral do departamento de História da Arte da Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP); Doutor em História pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG); Mestre em História pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG); Graduado em História pelo Centro Universitário de Araras "Dr. Edmundo Ulson" (UNAR), e Design de Produto pela Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (UEMG) com período sanduíche na Dublin Business School - Irlanda (DBS). Estuda temas ligados à história da arte, ao esoterismo ocidental e à história das ideias, privilegiando tópicos situados entre a Antiguidade e a Idade Moderna europeias, concentrados na recepção da tradição clássica. Dentro deste espectro, investiga questões ligadas à iconologia e teoria da arte, neoplatonismo, hermetismo, alquimia, Kabbalah, astrologia e filosofia oculta renascentista, em especial, no que tange ás interfaces teóricas e iconológicas entre arte, simbolismo, alegoria e o esoterismo ocidental. Researcher at the postdoctoral level in the Department of Art History at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP); PhD in History from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG); Master’s in History from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG); Bachelor’s degree in History from the University Center of Araras "Dr. Edmundo Ulson" (UNAR), and in Product Design from the State University of Minas Gerais (UEMG), with a study abroad period at the Dublin Business School - Ireland (DBS). His research focuses on topics related to art history, Western esotericism, and the history of ideas, particularly emphasizing subjects situated between Antiquity and Early Modern Europe, with a special focus on the reception of the classical tradition. Within this scope, he investigates issues related to iconology and art theory, Neoplatonism, Hermeticism, alchemy, Kabbalah, astrology, and Renaissance occult philosophy, particularly regarding the theoretical and iconological interfaces between art, symbolism, allegory, and Western esotericism.
